Job Summary
Conduct daily loan maintenance, process payments, and reconcile loans to the Core Banking system. Board and service purchased loans, prepare payoffs, and manage incoming and outgoing payments while adhering to federal regulations and investor guidelines. Provide responsive customer service to internal and external clients by resolving inquiries and interpreting procedures. Complete administrative functions including mail processing and supply ordering. Participate in training objectives with passing scores and follow all Riverview Bank policies. Perform basic servicing tasks for Board Consumer, HELOC, and Business Banking loans with limited guidance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one year of related experience or a combination of education/experience
- basic level problem solving skills
- Basic knowledge of basic servicing functions
- related regulations (CRA, HMDA, RESPA, etc.)
- Basic knowledge in computers
- Excel
- Word
- Outlook applications
- Ability to understand components of loan operations programs/software such as core and internet based applications
- Ability to work with limited guidance to ensure specific tasks are completed within quality and time standards
- Ability to present factual information and respond to questions from internal and external customers in a professional manner
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in standard situations
- Ability to follow a variety of instructions furnished in a written and/or oral manner
- Ability to read and interpret operating and maintenance instructions, procedures, safety rules and company manuals
- Ability to write basic correspondence
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, ratios, fractions and apply basic accounting practices/standards
- Ability to be flexible in a changing work environment
