Job Summary
Loan Servicing and Quality Assurance Specialist performs data input of transactions and quality review of the core loan system for consumer and commercial loans. Responsibilities include ensuring the core loan system matches executed loan documents, processing or reviewing new loans, renewals, modifications, extensions, payments, advances, maintenance, and system-generated reports; providing customer support regarding account inquiries and operational issues; and backing up related duties such as printing/mailing loan statements and calculating accruing fees on commercial loans. Collaborates with Relationship Managers, Service Teams, Legal and Compliance to deliver outcomes. Education requirement is a High School Diploma or equivalent with 2-4 years of experience in banking/financial services; knowledge of lending regulatory requirements is a plus; requires accuracy, strong communication, math proficiency, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; post-secondary degree preferred
- 2-4 years of experience in bank operations or financial services
- Previous Consumer/Private Bank/Wealth Management quality review experience with knowledge of lending regulatory requirements is a plus
- Familiarity with loan systems; ability to read and understand loan documents to ensure the loan system matches the loan documents
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communication skills (in person, email, and phone)
- Proficiency in basic math and general knowledge of office software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment
- Travel less than 25%
