Job Summary
Processing payments and advances for a range of loan types (Commercial, Real Estate, Installment, Home Equity, Unsecured, Reserve Line); reviewing signed loan documents to confirm original signatures; monitoring department inbox and mail; performing initial troubleshooting of loan document issues and escalating as needed; producing and reviewing daily/weekly reports; maintaining internal controls and audit trails; performing routine loan maintenance such as address changes and payment reversals, and updating loan officers. Requires 1-3 years of loan servicing experience, strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or with others in a fast-paced banking environment.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience with loan servicing systems and internal workflows
- Efficient organizational and time management skills
- Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to identify complex issues, escalate appropriately, and communicate status updates
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Sense of urgency
- Strong computer knowledge including Excel
