Job Summary
Loan Sales Officer responsible for identifying and acquiring new loan customers via field marketing and referrals, promoting and selling the bank’s loan products to individuals and businesses, conducting basic credit assessments and ensuring proper loan documentation, following up on disbursements and repayments, maintaining accurate client records, ensuring compliance with credit policies, meeting sales targets, and building long-term client relationships to drive repeat business.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc in any relevant discipline
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in banking or microfinance
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Target-driven with a passion for sales
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good knowledge of the local market and business environment
- Sales and marketing skills
- Customer relationship management
- Credit analysis (basic level)
- Result-oriented mindset
