Loan Processor Manager

Job Summary
Manage the Loan Processor Team by providing day-to-day supervision, coaching, and support to ensure equitable workload distribution and timely task completion. Lead the hiring process, train new members, and conduct regular meetings to share best practices and address challenges. Oversee performance evaluations, prepare annual reviews, and resolve routine personnel issues in consultation with management. Prepare and review loan documents including notes, mortgages, and modifications; ensure accurate data entry and prepare loans for posting to the accounting system. Maintain the mortgage servicing reminder system and perform collateral processes as needed. Collaborate with Account Officers and Loan Specialists to support loan origination and documentation while ensuring compliance with AgCredit policies. Perform pre-closing credit and operations forms as required. Travel to lending offices and other locations for training, with some overnight travel expected.
Required Qualifications
- Two-year degree in Business or Ag Business
- Three years legal and/or credit related work experience
- High school graduate with five to seven years of legal and/or credit related work experience
- Experience with legal documents and loan processing
- Ability to work independently and effectively with a diverse group of people with a minimum of direction
- Demonstrates attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Use of discretionary judgment in making decisions and problem solving
- Working knowledge of general business machines, i.e. PC, Calculator, copier, fax, etc.
- Working experience with Microsoft Office products
- The ability to travel to lending offices, AgFirst Farm Credit Bank, and other locations for training
- Some overnight travel is expected
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge in the area of agriculture is beneficial
- Knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formats to recognize and correct correspondence and reports
