Loan Processor II

Loan Processor II responsible for processing residential mortgage loans, serving as the liaison between loan officers, borrowers, underwriters, and funding to ensure timely closings. Duties include preparing and reviewing loan files for completeness and compliance with underwriting and investor guidelines, monitoring the processing cycle to keep loans on schedule, requesting and reviewing third-party documents (credit checks, title reports, appraisals, tax returns, verifications of employment/assets), verifying AUS findings and program applicability, submitting to underwriting, identifying issues early, providing options within guidelines, updating data in systems, and ensuring adherence to federal/state regulations and company standards. Requires high school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of loan processing experience with FHA/VA exposure preferred; strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills; proficiency with MS Office and document management tools; ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
