Job Summary
The Loan Processor II handles processing, preparing, and reviewing commercial, real estate, and consumer loan documentation with high accuracy and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include ordering title commitments/searches, coordinating flood determinations, reviewing operating agreements/bylaws/resolutions for signer authority, preparing loan documentation in LaserPro or similar platforms, delivering TRID disclosures when applicable, disbursing loan proceeds per terms, paying closing invoices, submitting collateral documents for recording, maintaining complete loan files in the bank’s systems, following up on outstanding items, assisting lenders with file exceptions, and preparing adverse action notices in ECOA-compliant manner. Requires strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and excellent communication while using core banking and loan operations systems. Demonstrated knowledge of banking regulations, lending policies, and documentation requirements; ability to provide high-quality service to internal staff, customers, and third-party vendors; and adherence to confidentiality and bank policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in loan documentation or loan operations
- Experience with LaserPro preferred
- Experience with Abrigo preferred but not required
- Experience with title work, flood determinations, and escrow closings preferred
- In-depth understanding of TRID, ECOA, HMDA, Flood regulations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy
