Job Summary
Lead and manage the Loan Processing team (up to 8 processors) to ensure complete, accurate, compliant loan files through the processing pipeline, while leveraging AI-assisted workflows (Claude) to boost efficiency and borrower experience. Drive process improvements, mentor and develop staff, monitor production and escalation handling, and partner with senior management on strategic initiatives. The role emphasizes DSCR/ hard money lending experience, rigorous attention to documentation and regulatory standards, and the integration of AI tools to optimize operations and decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of Loan Processing experience
- 5+ years of management experience
- Prior experience processing DSCR Loans
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office
- Prior Salesforce experience is a plus
- Hard money lending experience is a plus
- Analytical thinking and ability to summarize information
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Technically savvy and quick to adapt to new systems
- Experience with AI tools is a plus
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Advanced critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Ability to interpret and explain regulations and instructions
- Self-starter
