Job Summary
Review file documentation including income verifications, bank statements, and property valuations to prepare mortgage loans for underwriting and closing. Ensure appropriate data is entered in the origination system and uploaded to the paperless file system while maintaining complete and accurate information. Communicate with loan processors, loan officers, title companies, and insurance companies to gather information for clearing underwriting conditions and resolve investor stipulations. Follow up promptly with key individuals to ensure loans close in a timely manner. Stay up to date on current industry standards and manage a high volume of loans effectively.
Required Qualifications
- High School or equivalent
- some knowledge of mortgage lending policies, procedures, and regulations
- Well-developed ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
