Loan Operations Specialist

Job Summary
The Loan Operations Specialist will set up and maintain loans in the bank's core system, link guarantors and collateral, maintain CIP/CIF records, process loan servicing tasks (payments, adjustments, statements), ensure regulatory compliance (TILA/RESPA/ECOA), identify risks and discrepancies, generate reports, collaborate with loan officers/underwriters, support process improvements, and assist with audits and training to ensure accurate, compliant loan administration.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in loan servicing, loan documentation, or related financial industry roles
- Knowledge of Jack Henry/Silverlake or other banking core systems preferred
- Strong understanding of loan products, lending practices, and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
