Loan Operations Manager

Job Summary
Manage the day-to-day operations of Peachtree Group's loan portfolio, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal policies. Oversee cash flow management for loans receivable, including principal, interest, escrow accounts, and related loan activity, while reconciling loan-level cash logs and tracking all cash movements. Lead a team of six professionals, including five offshore members in India and one Atlanta-based staff, to handle loan-level collections, leverage payments, and investor distributions. Partner with Accounting to ensure timely reconciliations and efficient month-end and quarter-end close processes. Serve as a key liaison between Loan Servicing, Accounting, Finance, Asset Management, and Investment teams to evaluate operational processes and implement improvements. Support internal and external audit requests and maintain accurate operational documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in commercial real estate loan operations, loan servicing, finance, accounting, or a related field
- Prior management experience leading teams, including remote or offshore employees
- Strong understanding of commercial loan servicing, loan operations, and debt investment structures
- Experience managing loan cash flows, escrows, leverage facilities, and investor distributions
- Comfortable reviewing ownership structures, legal entities, and organizational charts
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
- Experience with loan servicing platforms and financial systems
- Strong leadership and people management abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment

Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Yardi is highly preferred or a willingness to become proficient as Peachtree Group continues its platform implementation
- Experience serving as a liaison between Loan Servicing and Accounting functions is strongly preferred
- Commercial real estate lending or debt fund experience
- Experience working with structured finance, warehouse facilities, or leverage financing
- Knowledge of fund structures, joint ventures, and institutional investment ownership
- Experience improving operational workflows and implementing scalable processes
