Job Summary
Process, close, and fund construction and real estate loans by reviewing files for completeness, coordinating draw requests, and verifying inspection reports before disbursement. Order necessary documentation such as appraisals and title work, prepare closing packages, and book loans within 72 hours of completion. Liaise with loan officers, borrowers, and contractors to ensure timely transaction processing while maintaining compliance with regulatory rules and bank policies. Monitor escrow accounts for tax payments and insurance, process loan modifications, and reconcile general ledger accounts. Complete required annual training and cross-train in departmental areas to support overall branch operations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds frequently

- Must comply with all applicable BSA/AML/OFAC policies and procedures associated with the performance of your job function, including participation in required training and identification of suspicious activity

- Must be able to order necessary loan information
- Must be able to obtain appraisals, title work for real estate loans and aircraft, loan documents, surveys, insurance, etc.
- Must be able to obtain needed documentation and loan document requests to attorney and/or third parties
- Must be able to review real estate loan documents for accuracy
- Must be able to obtain corrections as needed
- Must be able to book/fund loans once closed
- Must be able to prepare and give to the SVP/Sr. Credit Officer the booking checklist within 72 hours of booking
- Must be able to ensure that all legal documents have been filed for recording with the appropriate agencies
- Must be able to obtain receipt of title policy from title companies
- Must be able to review title policy for accuracy
- Must be able to prepare real estate loan folder
- Must be able to image all documents within 72 hours of receiving originals
- Must be able to prepare renewals, extensions and Modifications
- Must be able to assist with construction project advances/draws
- Must be able to become proficient with Bank Labs
- Must be able to ensure that all necessary approvals have been obtained and are scanned with the loan file
- Must be able to perform annual escrow analysis
- Must be able to monitor and clear delinquent property taxes
- Must be able to maintain a productive workflow as a member of a professional team
- Must be able to scan and verify loan files and any other documentation, as needed, in the imaging system
- Must be able to set-up and monitor loan documentation exception tracking and clearing
- Must be able to maintain collateral
- Must be able to process vehicle title registrations
- Must be able to file UCC Financing Statements/Continuations
- Must be able to track and monitor insurance
- Must be able to process insurance and real estate tax payments from escrow accounts
- Must be able to process draws/advance requests on loans/lines of credit
- Must be able to quote and process loan payoffs
- Must be able to process closed loans
- Must be able to prepare lien releases
- Must be able to mail documentation
- Must be able to review lien releases prepared by others
