Loan Operations Assistant Manager

Job Summary
The Loan Operations Assistant Manager coordinates and participates in daily loan servicing activities (loan maintenance, payment processing, reconciliations, account updates, modifications and payoff administration), monitors collateral records (lien perfection, title administration, UCC filings, insurance tracking, lien releases), ensures accuracy and regulatory compliance, and provides day-to-day leadership and coaching to loan operations staff. The role reviews documents for compliance, resolves servicing exceptions, generates operational reports, supports internal audits and regulatory examinations, and identifies process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk. Responsibilities also include overseeing system updates, staying current on lending regulations, and assisting with implementation and testing of servicing procedures. The position may require evenings or weekends and travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in loan servicing, loan operations, or banking operations
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
- Prior supervisory, lead or management experience preferred
