Job Summary
Develop and service consumer loans including auto and unsecured personal loans by determining credit worthiness and approving applications within delegated authority levels. Personally provide exceptional member service by using positive tones to assist applicants accurately, thoroughly, and efficiently while maintaining friendly interactions. Actively participate in department goals by assembling and evaluating loan applications, verifying credit and employment information, and performing advanced analysis of financial data to determine debt ability. Communicate with dealership partners and applicants to explain credit decisions, obtain documentation, and handle complex member disputes. Identify cross-sell opportunities to offer Arrowhead products, develop innovative loan structures for non-standard criteria, and provide lending system training to call center representatives and branch staff. Maintain proficiency in compliance laws including BSA, AML, and SAFE Act regulations while completing reporting tasks and audit reviews.
Required Qualifications
- Monday-Friday: 7:00am - 6:30pm
- Saturday: 7:00am - 5:00pm
- Sunday: Future Possibility
- Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality
- Has complete knowledge of preparation of loan documents; required signatures, disbursement of funds, boarding of loans, and how to ensure member understands debt responsibility
- Has working knowledge of collateral perfection requirements and regulations and can support branch efforts to collect proper documentation
- Has excellent knowledge of lending system functions and support and can direct Information Systems staff to issues and complications
- Maintains a proficient knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Office of Foreign Asset Controls (OFAC), Secure and Fair Enforcement (SAFE) Act for Mortgage Licensing, Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS), and complies with all loan-related laws and regulations applicable to area of responsibility
