Job Summary
ACEs Lending Officer Training Program at loanDepot offers a structured training path to become a Licensed Lending Officer. You’ll undergo comprehensive training spanning the loan life cycle, mortgage products (including HELOCs), and licensing exams (SAFE and NMLS). The role emphasizes sales aptitude, achievement of sales targets, customer-focused service, and proficiency with loan-processing software. You’ll work with company-provided leads in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with training and sales leadership, and will be based in Irvine, CA during the training phase. A minimum of 2 years of sales experience is required to apply; a Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred. After training, progression to a Licensed Lending Officer includes a different compensation structure. Base hourly training pay is $16.90/hour, with bonuses upon licensing and performance; long-term compensation includes a bonus and a new structure as a Licensed Lending Officer.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience with a proven history of meeting and exceeding goals (Call center sales experience highly preferred).
- Must be able to commute to Irvine, CA full-time.
- Must have the ability to pass the NMLS exam and meet mortgage requirements for obtaining state and national licenses.
- Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
