Job Summary
Develop and implement strategies to satisfy customer needs through residential mortgage financing products. Verify, compile, and input application information while reviewing files to ensure data completeness and adherence to establishment standards. Advise clients on home loan options and act as a liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure cohesive business flow. Informs supervisors of discrepancies in title or survey and performs other related duties as assigned. Requires a current, valid NMLS license and applicable state licensing. Two to five years' experience is preferred, with candidates expected to actively fund more than two loans monthly or complete Xinnix training. Must devote substantially more than 50 percent of working hours outside the office meeting with customers. Salary ranges from $0 to $250,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Current, valid NMLS license or appointment in good standing
- Must have applicable state licensing
- Xinnix Training completion for Loan Origination
- Actively funding more than 2 loans/month
- Origination mentor assigned to new Loan Officer by branch who funds more than 2 loans/month
- Ability to make sound judgments on the resolution of service, credit decision, funding, and post-close issues
- Ability to problem-solve and exercise independent judgment while displaying a high degree of initiative
- Ability to handle detailed assignments and maintain confidentiality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills necessary to prioritize workload and delegate responsibility
- Must devote substantially more than 50 percent of working hours outside of any Company office, home office, and any other fixed site, meeting with customers and potential customers seeking residential mortgage financing
- Hearing and vision within normal ranges
