Job Summary
Sell home mortgage loans by discussing client options and reviewing residential application files to verify data completeness and establishment standards. Assess borrower assets, liabilities, and employment history against type and amount of mortgage applied for. Maintain confidentiality while making sound judgments on credit decisions, funding, and post-close issues. Exercise independent problem-solving skills to resolve service and resolution challenges. Valid NMLS license required; two to five years experience preferred. Travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid NMLS license or appointment in good standing
- Must have applicable state licensing
- Ability to make sound judgments on the resolution of service, credit decision, funding, and post-close issues
- Ability to problem-solve and exercise independent judgment while displaying a high degree of initiative
- Ability to handle detailed assignments and maintain confidentiality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills necessary to prioritize workload and delegate responsibility
- Must be available for weekend shifts
Desired Qualifications
- Two to five years' experience are preferred
