Job Summary
Verifies, compiles, and inputs application information for mortgage loans while discussing home loan options with clients. Reviews residential loan application files to ensure data completeness and meets establishment standards regarding borrower assets, liabilities, and employment history. Informs supervisors of discrepancies in title or survey findings. Communicates verbally and in writing with customers and internal departments to ensure cohesive business flow. Sits and stands for extended periods, devoting substantially more than 50 percent of working hours outside the office meeting with potential customers seeking residential mortgage financing. Requires a current, valid NMLS license and applicable state licensing.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a licensed loan officer
- Must have applicable state licensing
- Current, valid NMLS license or appointment in good standing
- Must also meet one of the following 3 options: Actively funding more than 2 loans/month, or Xinnix Training completion for Loan Origination required, or Origination mentor assigned to new Loan Officer by branch who funds more than 2 loans/month
Desired Qualifications
- Two to five years' experience are preferred
