Job Summary
Listen to members' needs to identify, assess, and educate on solutions including deposit accounts, loans, and credit cards. Handle transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and check cashing accurately. Open new deposit accounts, originate and close consumer loans, and manage required documentation like financial statements and collateral verification. Respond to inquiries regarding account operations, service features, and discrepancies, assisting members with effective usage of offerings. Complete internal trainings on CDs, new accounts, IRAs, personal loans, and vehicle loans within six months.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Proven success in new account opening and consumer loans origination

- Ability to handle the collection of all required loan documents, i.e., financial statements, collateral verification
- Ability to respond to member inquiries regarding the operation of accounts, access to services, resolving account discrepancies, balancing, and reconciling
- Ability to assist members to make the most effective usage of service offerings
- Ability to complete the following internal trainings within 6 months of starting the role, if not previously obtained: CDs, New Accounts (including Specialty Accounts), IRAs, Personal Loans and Vehicle Loans
- Ability to stand remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time
- Ability to move about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another
- Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word
- Ability to perceive the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction
- Ability to pick, pinch, type or otherwise work, primarily with fingers rather than with whole hand or arm
- Ability to apply pressure to an object with the fingers and palm
- Visual acuity to prepare and analyze data and figures
- Visual acuity to transcribe
- Visual acuity to view a computer terminal
- Visual acuity to perform extensive reading
- Visual acuity to perform visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines
- Visual acuity to use measurement devices
