Job Summary
Seeking a Loan Officer to develop new business in Agricultural Lending and Country Mortgage segments. Requires a Bachelor's degree, knowledge of agricultural finance, and strong sales skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics
- Knowledgeable in areas of farm management and agricultural finance
- Proven ability to meet sales goals through proactive business development
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, principles, procedures, and credit practices in the Farm Credit System
- Mortgage finance knowledge
- Skilled in making sales calls and proposals for new business
- Superior knowledge of Association products, lending programs, and credit policies
- Excellent judgment, leadership, initiative, and organization skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to analyze financial statements and assess creditworthiness
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple loan relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and loan origination systems
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
