Job Summary
The Loan Officer plays a crucial role by performing various production functions related to mortgage origination. Responsibilities include conducting consultations with clients to assess eligibility for loans, educating clients on mortgage products, assisting with loan applications, and ensuring compliance with lending guidelines. The officer will develop referral sources, collaborate with underwriters and processors, and be responsible for submitting complete loan packages. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, in addition to at least two years of related experience and NMLS licensing.
Required Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in Mortgage lending or related field.
- NMLS License.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Wiki, collaborative cloud-based programs, and third-party software applications required.
