Job Summary
Loan Officer role (remote in US) responsible for identifying and developing customer financing objectives, advising on loan products (Conventional, FHA, VA) and policies, collecting and analyzing financial information, and ensuring timely closings. Requires thorough knowledge of lending programs, ability to travel inter-state as needed, strong customer service, proficiency with loan origination systems (Encompass preferred) and AUS (LP, DU), and bilingual Spanish. Focus areas include explaining risks/benefits of loan options, gathering documentation, coordinating with customers, processing, underwriting, closing, title company and builders, locking rates, and meeting production standards. Bachelor's degree preferred; 3+ years of loan origination experience; NMLS license; strong relationship-building and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- NMLS licensed in the state of residence
- 3+ years of experience originating loans
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
