Job Summary
Assist Loan Officers by completing on-line and classroom educational sessions while receiving operational and hands-on training. Update loan applications with missing data, maintain notes within the Loan Origination System, and occasionally provide initial file setup. Participate in formal training programs covering lending aspects, creditworthiness assessment, and loan approval processes. Train with managers on mortgage rate sheets to learn pricing and locking techniques. Review daily, weekly, and monthly reports to understand the mortgage process from application to closing. Act as a primary contact for borrowers, scheduling meetings to discuss follow-up issues, and assist processors and closers in procuring loan documents. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of RESPA through continuing education courses. Work flexible schedules including weekends and evenings as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work in excess of eight hours per day in the confined quarters of a construction trailer
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to read plans
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds
- Ability to occasionally operate construction equipment
- Finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
- Regular, in-person attendance at Company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours

- Mortgage or banking experience

- The ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Up-to-date knowledge of RESPA
