Job Summary
The Loan Officer Assistant is responsible for managing communications, taking initial loan applications, and providing support and guidance to customers throughout the loan process in a fast-paced environment. Essential duties include providing top-notch service from initial contact to contract, documenting and reviewing loan applications, maintaining regular contact with the Managing Loan Officer, and acting as a liaison between borrowers and third parties. Ideal candidates should be organized, able to multi-task, and possess strong attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ experience in a Loan Officer Assistant role
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Encompass LOS and MS office suite
- Ability to identify and resolve client issues with good judgment
- Structured, detailed and accurate approach to tasks
- Skilled at multi-tasking and staying organized with proper time management
