Job Summary
Manage communications and take initial loan applications, guiding customers from contact through contract while supporting the managing loan officer. Collect client basic information via phone or the myUHM app, request borrower documentation, and conduct full reviews to follow up on missing items. Initiate contact with new leads and realtors to schedule meetings, pull initial credit, and add contract details to the loan file upon receipt. Act as a liaison between borrowers, third parties, and the title company, maintaining regular contact with the managing loan officer on active file status. Attend weekly huddles with the team leader and sales huddles, manage the lead tracker, and double-check guidelines with the UW helpdesk as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years in a basic Loan Officer Assistant role
- Knowledge of the Encompass LOS and MS office suite
- Ability to identify and resolve client issues with good judgment
- Have a desire to work in an energetic and high paced environment
- Skilled at Multi-tasking and staying organized with proper time management
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
