Job Summary
Administrative support for Loan Officers in a remote mortgage environment. Responsibilities include coordinating documentation, maintaining loan files in Encompass LOS, and serving as a primary point of contact for clients and referral partners. You will request and track financial documentation, review files for completeness, set up and maintain loan records, coordinate scheduling with real estate agents, appraisers, title companies, and internal team members, and prepare files for processing and underwriting. You will provide routine status updates to clients and referral partners, monitor loan pipelines, and assist with general office tasks. The role emphasizes strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication, with a bilingual English/Spanish advantage. The position is non-licensed and involves supporting loan officers without engaging in activities that require an MLO license.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year of mortgage or financial services experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under tight deadlines
- Experience with Encompass LOS strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and other common loan programs is a plus
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
