Job Summary
Structured, full-time Loan Officer Accelerator Program (LOAP) starting as Loan Officer Assistant with hands-on training in mortgage processing, origination, compliance, and sales. Shadow experienced LOs and progress to a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer within 12–18 months based on performance. LOAP duties include assisting with borrower communication, collecting and verifying financial documents, entering loan data, tracking appraisals and title work, preparing pre-qualifications and pre-approvals, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with processing, underwriting, and closing teams. Transition to building and managing a personal client pipeline and guiding clients from application through closing.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (college preferred)
- Ability to obtain NMLS mortgage license (BOE will support this)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to learn new systems and processes
