Job Summary
Structured, full-time Loan Officer Accelerator Program role in Fort Walton Beach, FL. Starts as a Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) with hands-on training in mortgage processing, origination, compliance, and sales, then progresses to a licensed Loan Officer within 12–18 months based on performance. Responsibilities include assisting Loan Officers with borrower communication and loan file preparation, collecting and verifying financial documents, entering loan data, tracking appraisals and title work, preparing pre-qualifications and pre-approvals, maintaining compliance, building a personal client pipeline, analyzing borrower eligibility, guiding clients through the application–closing process, and collaborating with processing, underwriting, and closing teams. Requires ability to obtain an NMLS mortgage license (BOE support) and offers a commissioned sales compensation structure with full-time salary during training, typical hours 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and long-term career potential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to learn new systems and processes
- Ability to obtain NMLS mortgage license (BOE will support this)
