Job Summary
Review borrower credit, employment, income, and assets; assemble complete loan packages and prepare required disclosures and forms. Communicate directly with borrowers, Loan Originators, and underwriters to obtain missing documentation and manage milestones from contract through closing. Proactively identify and escalate documentation, underwriting, or timing issues to facilitate accurate loan approvals. Verify vendor orders, invoices, and third-party items including surveys and title commitments. Manage assigned pipelines and document all material communications within the loan origination system. Work varying hours and overtime as needed to meet business deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of residential mortgage processing experience
- Encompass experience
- Knowledge of DU, LP, Microsoft Office, and Windows
- Excellent math and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills that support timely completion of work and deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Skilled at working effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Must be available to work varying hours and overtime, when necessary, based on business needs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with RESPA regulations and knowledge of mortgage and consumer lending regulations and loan documentation, preferred
