Job Summary
Loan IQ Consultant role in the Finance Change the Bank Group, based in New York City with a Hybrid schedule (3 days onsite). The project focuses on implementing Loan IQ, including end-to-end testing, sub-ledger creation for downstream systems, and delivering the Finance Target Operating Model. The candidate will perform hands-on LIQ accounting work, write and validate test cases for LIQ accounting table setups, understand LIQ accounting outputs, and collaborate with Finance, IT, and Operations to streamline workflows and reporting. Requires 7-10 years of overall experience with 5-7 years specifically in Loan IQ, LIQ accounting expertise, business requirements documentation, and production release support. A Bachelor’s degree is required. The role involves liaising across Product Control, Accounting, Treasury, IT, Project Management, and Operations to ensure controls are in place and to provide IT with sufficient requirements for reporting, with a focus on end-to-end testing of the Finance Target Operating Model.
Required Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience required
- 5-7 years’ experience specifically related to Loan IQ experience
- Hands-on experience using Loan IQ (preferably involved in Loan IQ implementations) with ability to execute a wide range of transactions
- LIQ Accounting is a must — they will not look at any candidate without this experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to write test cases to validate the LIQ Accounting Table Setup and execute those transactions in LIQ with no supervision
- Ability to understand LIQ Accounting output from LIQ Transactions
- Knowledge of General Ledger Loan Accounting and LIQ GL Posting Functionality
- Knowledge on LIQ Accounting Table setup
- Defined Target Operating Model experience or knowledge
- Experience collaborating with Finance, Technology, Program Management, and Operations
- Experience in defining, validating, and executing test cases
- Raising risks/issues/dependencies and production release support
