Job Summary
Loan Document & Processing Junior Analyst role at Citi based in Mumbai, India. Responsible for preparing and reviewing loan documentation and providing support across the loan process in a hybrid work arrangement. Activities include independently processing and closing loans within a complex operations environment, collateral management (booking cash transactions, general ledger input, calculations), interaction with counterparties, and involvement in risk/control functions. Designs and analyzes loan documentation reports for management requirements, supports process improvements, ensures adherence to audit and control policies, and escalates issues as needed. Requires understanding of loan processes, products, and procedures, and strong communication and diplomacy skills to interact with colleagues and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- 0-2 years
- Elementary level knowledge of Business Processes, Systems and Tools used in the Loan Process
- Understanding of Loan Processes, Procedures, Products and Services
- Ability to identify, mitigate, manage, resolve, and escalate risks
- Awareness of policies, laws, and regulations
- Compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations
