Job Summary
Review closed and underwriting loan documents for compliance with investor guidelines and regulations, obtaining corrections when necessary. Dispute invalid purchase conditions and clear loans for sale to mitigate cure fees, ensuring all investor stipulations are met. Maintain daily production and quality rates for Investor Suspense by tracking trends and collaborating with title companies, underwriters, and Loan Processors. Handle escalated direct customer contact via phone, email, and text while prioritizing work to meet pre-established deadlines. Assist with other Loan Delivery process tasks and crosstrain team members on investor and agency guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Three (3) years prior mortgage lending experience, including underwriting conventional, and government loans
- Reliable transportation
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Excellent phone and service skills
- Mathematical skills
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to speak, read and write in the English language
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
Desired Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent, a plus
