Job Summary
Monitor standard collection procedures to minimize loan delinquencies and assist in negotiating delinquent accounts through inbound/outbound calls and skip trace methods. Document collection history, evaluate mortgagors unable to bring loans current, and refer cases to the Mitigation Department. Maintain quality call standards, meet daily call goals, and adhere to investor rules while researching and resolving problems effectively. Work in a standard office environment using Microsoft Windows applications, requiring flexible hours to complete weekly assignments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of collection experience or equivalent
- Courteous, tactful and assertive interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates effective listening skills
- Strong analytical and negotiating skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
- Possess strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well on a team and focus on results
- Ability to research and resolve problems effectively
- Working experience within a call center
- Experience working with Microsoft Windows applications
- Ability to work assigned/flexible hours necessary to complete the job on a weekly basis
- Ability to sustain predictable work attendance
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, sit, and use arms, hands and fingers to reach, handle or touch
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Close vision
- Ability to adjust focus
