Job Summary
Role involves assisting in delinquency and collection activities for a credit union under the supervision of the Loan Control Supervisor. Responsibilities include contacting members to determine delinquency reasons and help develop plans to bring accounts current, performing skip tracing, maintaining records, processing payments, issuing past due notices, handling charge-offs and repossession-related tasks, and ensuring compliance with related procedures and regulations. Requires experience in collections or related financial roles and strong attention to detail, communication, and customer service, with ability to work independently and as part of a team. Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited college or university; or an Associates degree from an accredited college in Business, Accounting, or related field plus one (1) year of collections and/or credit granting experience in a financial institution; or High School graduate plus two (2) years of collections and/or credit granting experience in a financial institution; or Gather FCU employee with at least one (1) year of Member Experience Representative Experience.
