Job Summary
Loan Boarding Specialist responsible for accurate onboarding of loans into the loan servicing platform (FIS IBS), ensuring data integrity from close/fund through servicing setup, validating documents against credit approval terms, inputting loan details, verifying setup components (rates, terms, disbursements, fees), processing onboarding transactions, tracking lien perfection and collateral, and providing prompt internal/external customer service while maintaining compliant loan records and supporting reporting (HMDA/CRA as applicable). Requires 2-4 years in loan operations/servicing, AA or equivalent, strong attention to detail, system-navigating ability (FIS IBS a plus), and effective communication. On-site in Novato, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 2-4 years of experience in loan operations, loan boarding, loan servicing, loan processing, or related banking function
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- FIS IBS experience is a strong plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving servicing environment
