Job Summary
Loan Advisor responsible for collecting past-due payments and negotiating payment plans while maintaining positive relationships with customers. Role involves creating long-term solutions to help customers stay current on loans, making inbound and outbound contact regarding delinquencies (generally 1–60 days), educating customers on available options, navigating multiple systems to review accounts and process payments, and ensuring follow-up on repayment agreements to support ownership of the loan. Must be able to negotiate, adhere to Fair Debt Collections Practice Act guidelines, stay composed on escalated calls, and meet monthly collection, call time, and quality goals. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in collections, financial services, and/or phone-based sales, customer service or customer relations
- Contact center experience in the financial services industry preferred
