Loan Administration Specialist

Job Summary

Handle loan requests, including documentation and perfect liens to protect the bank's interest. Review title work, loan approvals, and terms and conditions while coordinating settlements with customers and attorneys. Gather, organize, and track all required loan documentation, then prepare documents using Laser Pro for commercial and consumer mortgages, including renewals and term changes. Ensure TRID compliance, prepare attorney instructions, and resolve exceptions prior to settlement and funding. Administer timely disbursement and receipt of funds, maintain loan files, and perform document audits to approve or reject packages. Maintain a positive relationship with management and lending staff while adhering to federal, state, and bank safety policies. Requires flexible schedule with extended hours; full benefits and 401K match available.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  • Minimum 1 year or more related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Mortgage or commercial loan processing experience, this includes an understanding of loan documentation and verifying documentation for commercial entities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of bank operating systems and lending operation functions
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule with extended hours when required to meet deadlines
  • Thorough knowledge of bank procedures and of State and Federal mortgage regulations to maintain loan file compliance
  • Experience demonstrating sensitivity and tact in handling highly confidential information
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Mobility sufficient to perform activities required of position, including travel to branch locations
  • Manual dexterity for the functional operation of office equipment, such as computers, calculators, etc.
