Job Summary
Flight Loadmaster at Lynden Air Cargo, responsible for weight and balance calculations, safe cargo handling, and coordinating loading/unloading on the Hercules C-130. Travel to remote and international locations, supervise cargo operations, ensure CFR compliance, and maintain high standards of safety and operational efficiency within a tight-knit crew. Builds specialized experience in weight and balance, cargo handling systems, and flight operations while contributing to mission success in a globally distributed operation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1-3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and basic correspondence
- Mathematical skills including arithmetic operations and data interpretation
- Availability and travel requirements including international travel
- Current Driver License and US Passport
- Ability to obtain Loadmaster II Certificate of Qualification after training
- Physical fitness and drug testing requirements
