Job Summary
Check incoming loads and write receiving slips, then unload new equipment and move it through the plant. Place all supplies in proper storage areas and take them to production zones. Print labels, manage inventory tracking, and perform general housekeeping and cleanup duties in the warehouse. Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements while performing job rotation as needed. This role requires completing paperwork and SAP functions, basic math, and obtaining a class II tow motor certification. The position involves working the 2nd shift, overtime, and weekends as needed in a fast-paced environment with physical demands including lifting 20+ pounds and standing for up to 10 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Ability and willingness to complete all paperwork and SAP functions
- Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed
- Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (i.e.: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Ability and willingness to obtain a class II tow motor certification
- Ability and willingness to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level 20 pounds or greater frequently
- Ability and willingness to lift/lower/carry 20 pounds or greater with back and legs
- Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with rapid hand and eye coordination to move product on a conveyor and/or other processing equipment
- Ability and willingness to flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently
- Ability and willingness to stand/walk/climb/bend for up to 10 hours
- Ability and willingness to work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 35 degrees
