Job Summary
Load, secure, and protect product in the delivery vehicle while safely transporting merchandise without damage. Verify product information and accessories to ensure they match for deliveries and returns. Offload merchandise for customers safely. On non-delivery or low delivery days, assist in the woodshop with duties defined by the plant manager, including assembling cabinets, sanding, staining, painting, and operating machinery. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work manner. This role requires lifting up to 80 lbs independently and up to 300 lbs with assistance. Schedule varies from 7 am to 9 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. without help and up to 300 lbs. with assistance
- Ability to work schedule of hours varying from 7 am to 9 pm
- Must have keen eye for detail and producing high quality products (free of defects/errors)
- Must be able to learn to operate woodworking machinery, equipment, and hand tools
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Excellent customer service skills, including being courteous and professional
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous experience in warehouse, furniture moving, or other related physical work preferred
- Ability to read/interpret shop drawings, and utilize and read tape measure
