Job Summary
Load and unload shipments, lifting boxes up to 100 pounds, while ensuring load stability and avoiding damage. Operate stock trucks and mechanical jacks throughout the plant, marking, addressing, and wrapping pallets by machine or hand. Comply with all safety regulations and standards while maintaining confidentiality and following established policies. This part-time role requires basic arithmetic skills, English proficiency, and the ability to read and interpret written instructions. You will work under general supervision to prepare products for shipment and transport on delivery vehicles as directed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Basic arithmetic skills
- Good physical stamina
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Currently authorized to work in the United States
- Consistent attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to make timely decisions
- Sound and accurate judgment
- Ability to observe safety and security procedures
- Ability to determine appropriate action beyond guidelines
- Ability to report potentially unsafe conditions
- Ability to use equipment and materials properly
- Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment
