Job Summary
Operate and monitor a crushing facility while performing routine equipment maintenance and plant improvement projects. Drive production equipment such as haul trucks, wheeled loaders, or skid steers as needed, and conduct daily safety and maintenance inspections. Manage site clean-up and troubleshoot crushers, conveyors, and screens. Work outdoors in varied weather conditions with overtime and Saturday availability. This role requires one year of production experience and a strong commitment to safety excellence within Rogers Group's aggregates and asphalt highway construction operations.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience operating a crushing plant
- Previous fixed plant maintenance or related industry experience
- Knowledge of wash plant and crusher equipment
- Able to do safety and maintenance inspections throughout the day
- Capable of demonstrating equipment and troubleshooting knowledge
- Experience working with crushers, conveyors and screens
- Ability to understand basic safety and work instruction
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Team player mentality
- Working outdoors in varied weather conditions with the probability of dust, noise, heat, and cold
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
- Overtime is required as needed and may include Saturdays
Desired Qualifications
- At least one year experience in a production role
