Job Summary
Operate loaders, Bobcats, and jackhammers to move materials, dig trenches, and clean plant yards. Shovel substances, position structural components, and signal equipment operators for alignment. Tend pumps, compressors, and generators while lubricating, repairing, and applying caulking compounds. Erect scaffolding, control traffic, and mix ingredients for surface treatments. Maintain safety by cleaning sites and following regulations. Work long, flexible hours including nights, weekends, and all seasons. Requires one year of loader experience, valid NC driver license, and ability to lift over 80 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old
- 1 year experience operating loader required
- Must have regular and predictable attendance
- Valid NC driver license
- Willing to work overtime and weekends
- Must be able to lift or move heavy weight material (over 80 pounds)
- Must be able to work around noise, dust, heat, cold, oil and heavy equipment
- Must be able to exchange ideas quickly and clearly
- Must be able to receive and evaluate detailed information and instructions
Desired Qualifications
- MSHA certified a plus
