Job Summary
Operate loader and Bobcat at pits and plants to move, load, and unload materials while shoveling and mixing compounds. Signal equipment operators, control traffic, and erect temporary structures like scaffolding and braces. Lubricate, clean, and repair machinery; tend pumps, compressors, and generators. Apply caulking, spray surfaces, and maintain site safety by cleaning rubble and preparing areas. Work long, flexible hours including nights, weekends, and all seasons. Must possess valid NC driver's license, one year loader experience, and ability to lift over 80 pounds in noisy, dusty environments.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 21 years old
- 1 year experience operating loader required
- Must have regular and predictable attendance
- Valid NC driver license
- Willing to work overtime and weekends
- Must be able to lift or move heavy weight material (over 80 pounds)
- Must be able to work around noise, dust, heat, cold, oil and heavy equipment
- Must be able to exchange ideas quickly and clearly
- Must be able to receive and evaluate detailed information and instructions
Desired Qualifications
- MSHA certified a plus
