Job Summary
Operate heavy equipment including wheel loaders, car crushers, and skid loaders to move salvage vehicles, unload car haulers, and stage cars for inventory. Perform preoperational inspections, check fluids, and maintain facility grounds by spreading stone and managing drainage. Update inventory systems using scan guns and tablets, prioritize workloads, and assist with dismantling and quality assurance of vehicles. Communicate delays and findings to management while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Requires 1+ years of experience with heavy equipment and automotive background.

- heavy equipment operations experience
- automotive background
- basic technology competence (scan gun, tablet/phone applications)
- good oral and written communication skills
- ability to stay calm, cool and collected in a high pressure fast paced work environment
- ability to work well with others
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Previous heavy equipment operating
- some computer skills
- general maintenance and understanding of mechanical equipment
- Understanding of automotive components and disassembly
- Experience in rigging/lifting operations
