Job Summary
Operate a loader and other heavy equipment to support daily ready-mix plant operations and production of concrete blocks. Maintain left over concrete and concrete waste at the plant while loading and moving concrete block materials to manage inventory. Perform pre-use inspections and promptly report equipment, safety, or maintenance concerns. Monitor material handling practices to prevent contamination and ensure a safe, clean, and organized work area. Submit to a post-offer pre-employment background check. Work in environments with moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise levels.
Required Qualifications
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance with workplace policies and procedures
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality and contamination prevention
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced plant environment
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to support plant operations
- Capability to operate heavy equipment and safely lift, climb, and enter/exit equipment in an outdoor setting
- Must submit to post-offer pre-employment background check
