Job Summary
Loader Operator responsible for operating heavy equipment including Excavator, Mini Excavator, Skid Steer, Front End Loader, and Rough Terrain Fork-lift. Must learn and apply safety hazards and safe usage of related tools and equipment. Performs lay-out and fine grading, digs on grade, grading stone/gravel, digs footings/foundations/grade beams, trenching and pit excavations, and finishing application and hoisting. Requires certification to operate heavy equipment; heavy physical effort and ability to kneel, stoop, crouch, balance, climb or crawl. Emphasizes safety, productive performance, and adherence to equal opportunity employment policies.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years with concrete batching in ready mix or concrete paving
- Technical training or related experience with concrete batching
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of concrete batching technology, equipment, methods, and safety procedures
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Certified to operate heavy equipment required
