Job Summary
Operate the loader safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials throughout different areas of the site. Feed the production line and various departments as needed while weighing incoming and outgoing materials to complete required reports. Inspect the equipment before and after each shift, ensuring proper operation and reporting any issues or material irregularities to your supervisor. Maintain a clean and safe work area while performing other related duties as required. This role supports AIM Recycling's global metal recycling operations in Montreal-East.
Required Qualifications
- DEP in heavy machinery operation
- 1 to 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment
- valid heavy equipment operator certification
- valid Class 5 driver's license
- commitment to health and safety
- ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- good communication skills
- ability to work effectively as part of a team
