Job Summary
Loader / Operator role reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of finished goods. Requires operating a stand-up forklift with certification, working outdoors in various weather, using pick lists to locate materials, applying FIFO principles, directing truck drivers, and adhering to safety policies. 2nd shift; compensation $23.88/hr; duties include communicating with drivers, locating materials, and supporting shipping and scale-house tasks. Requires forklift certification, High School diploma or GED, and legal eligibility to work in the U.S.; overtime and weekend work may be required; physical ability to lift up to 76 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Minimum 2 years forklift operating experience preferred
- Able to pass forklift certification class and test
- Fluent in verbal and written English
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists
- Able to lift up to 76 lbs unassisted
- Willing to work overtime, including weekends
- Must pass a fit-for-duty physical
