Job Summary
Stage and organize stone products and materials in the yard, performing loading, unloading, storing, transferring, and inventorying tasks. Inspect incoming materials, verify invoices, and maintain haul roads while ensuring proper blending and stockpile berming. Perform pre- and post-trip equipment inspections, conduct routine maintenance on the loader, and update time and production records. Maintain MSHA and H&K safety policies and provide customer service as needed. Work the second shift with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401(k).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution OR one month of related experience and/or training
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Write simple correspondence
- Effectively present information in a on-on-one or small group situation to customers, clients, and other employees
- Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
- Problem solving
- Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed
- Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
- Willing and able to work a first or second shift schedule
- MSHA or other relevant safety certification
- Pre-employment Physical
Desired Qualifications
- 3 months+ related experience
- Experience operating heavy equipment
- Strong preference for Loader operation experience
- Experience working in a quarry, heavy civil construction, or other outdoor industrial setting
